Almyra at Kina is a luxury boutique self contained waterfront apartment accommodation ideal for a couple, set in over 3 acres of parkland garden fronting the Kina Estuary and with 360 degree views.

The king bedded bedroom is luxuriously appointed and has sliding windows leading to a deck with easy chairs where you can sit and watch the sun set on Mt. Arthur.

The sumptuous ensuite has luxury towels, white robes, quality toiletries and a walk in shower; heated towel warmer; demist mirror and underfloor heating to the tiled floor.

The sitting room has comfortable leather sofas, flat screen tv; dvd; hifi; a kitchenette area with fridge/freezer; microwave; ceramic hob and plenty of crockery etc for cooking simple meals.

A BBQ is provided on the deck for your use. Sliding ranchsliders lead onto a deck with outdoor dining table & chairs; sun umbrella. Parking is adjacent to the apartment accessed by a separate driveway and private entrance to the apartment.

There is provision for parking a small boat if required. Free WIFI is offered to our guests. There is a heated swimming pool for guests use (seasonal) and guests are very welcome to wander in the garden; play petanque or sit awhile at one of the many seating areas where you can enjoy a glass of wine and watch the birdlife or the ever-changing moods of the mountains and estuary.

A breakfast basket with fruit platter & complementary bottle of local wine are provided on arrival.

Friends of Flora

Community helping Conservation in the Kahurangi National Park

Local volunteers, in partnership with the Department of Conservation, are protecting and/or assisting the return of endangered and threatened flora and fauna to the Flora Stream catchment area in Kahurangi National Park.

This will enhance the experience for all visitors to this popular area, resulting in wider community appreciation and use of the Park.
